Terms of Service

1. The service

CurriculumHub is a curriculum planning and organisation platform for UK primary schools, allowing schools to store, view, and export curriculum overview information. CurriculumHub does not provide curriculum content, schemes of work, or lesson plans — the school is responsible for the accuracy of all data entered.

2. Accounts

• The school designates one or more admin accounts on sign-up.
• Admins may invite additional staff (co-admins) as covered by the subscription plan.
• The school is responsible for the accuracy of staff details entered and for managing access.
• Accounts are for use by the subscribing school only and may not be shared outside the school or resold.

3. Subscription, pricing, and free trial

• New schools receive a 30-day free trial for one user, with 8 free exports included. No payment is taken during the trial.
• The School plan is £TBC per year for up to 5 staff accounts, covering all subjects and year groups, template data upload, and unlimited exports.
• MAT / Trust pricing is agreed individually and covers cross-school visibility and trust-level reporting.
• An optional one-off onboarding service (£TBC flat fee) is available for schools who want their existing curriculum documents uploaded on their behalf.
• Fees are billed in advance per the agreed order form and are non-refundable except as required by law or at CurriculumHub's discretion.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time — there's no long contract. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. On cancellation, you'll receive a full export of your curriculum data before deletion, so you're never locked in.

5. Data ownership

The school owns all curriculum content it enters into CurriculumHub. CurriculumHub owns the software, platform, and underlying technology. We will not use a school's curriculum content for any purpose other than providing the service to that school.

6. Acceptable use

Schools agree not to use CurriculumHub to store pupil data, special category data, or any personal data beyond staff name and email (the platform is not designed or secured for this), attempt unauthorised access to other schools' data, or use the service unlawfully.

7. Service availability

CurriculumHub is provided on a reasonable-endeavours basis. As a platform run by a single developer at this stage, we do not currently guarantee a specific uptime percentage or formal Service Level Agreement. We aim to give advance notice of planned maintenance and to resolve issues promptly.

8. Warranties and disclaimers

CurriculumHub is provided "as is." While we take reasonable care to ensure the platform functions correctly and data is stored securely, we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free service.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to a school for any claim is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Changes to the service and these Terms

We may update these Terms or the service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to school admin accounts by email with reasonable notice before taking effect.

11. Termination by CurriculumHub

We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these Terms (e.g. attempting to store pupil data, unauthorised access attempts, or non-payment), with notice where reasonably possible.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
